Throughout the year, VCU DocuSign Administration closes the VCU DocuSign accounts of those individuals who have left VCU. Every envelope sent on the VCU DocuSign domain is permanently stored, and--at any time, even while you are still with VCU--your department may request a custody transfer of all envelopes you had ever sent. If you return to VCU after your VCU DocuSign account has been closed, you will receive a new VCU DocuSign account and will not have access to any previously sent envelopes. NOTE: If you had granted Shared Access to your account prior to leaving VCU, the delegee will no longer have access to your account once it has been closed. In such case, your department will have to request a custody transfer of your envelopes. Prior to leaving VCU, individuals with template creation permissions are advised to arrange transfer of any templates/PowerForms that are actively used for the department's business processes to another account. Otherwise, once your account is closed, the templates/PowerForms you created will be purged from the system. DocuSign permanently purges deleted templates within 24 hours of entering the Deleted bin, and there is no restoration possible once the templates have been purged from the Deleted bin. |
