Symptoms
When trying to claim or find your eID, you cannot proceed because you do not know or have your VCU V# (Banner ID).
Environment
- eID Claim
 - eID Finder
 - eID Login
 
Solution
Students
If you can log into your account:
- Login to https://eid.vcu.edu
 - Navigate to the MY PROFILE tab
 - Your V# is listed under Banner ID (V#)
 
If you are logging in for the first time/don't have access to your account:
- If you are a newly accepted student, the V# is located in your acceptance email 
- If you cannot find your acceptance email, you will need to contact VCU Admissions
 
 - If you are a current/former student and are having issues logging in, contact the IT Support Center for further assistance
 
Faculty/Staff/Affiliate
If you can log into your account:
- Login to https://eid.vcu.edu
 - Navigate to the MY PROFILE tab
 - Your V# is listed under Banner ID (V#)
 
If you are logging in for the first time/don't have access to your account:
- Reach out to your supervisor/personnel administrator/School or Unit contact 
- If you still need assistance, contact VCU HR
