QuestionPro is an online survey tool that provides an easy to use point-and-click interface where users can create and distribute surveys, collect responses and analyze the results all in one place. VCU has acquired the Academic Enterprise Site License, which has the same features as the corporate version. You must use REDCap if you wish to collect confidential or sensitive (Category I) data.

Compliance

• It is the user's responsibility to comply with all VCU policies and guidelines.
• If you are collecting data for human subjects research, review and approval of the project are required by the Institutional Review Board.
• All data collected in QuestionPro is the responsibility of the account holder. The management of the collected data must comply with the state-mandated record retention schedule. Review the Records Management Policy for details.
• QuestionPro may only house Non-public (Category II) or Public (Category III) data. QuestionPro may not house confidential and sensitive (Category I) data. The only survey tool available at VCU designated to house Category I data is REDCap.  
• If you are unsure if your use of QuestionPro will comply with the policies outlined here, request a Data Security Consultation with the VCU Information Security Office.
