Problem: DUO Mobile App presents in German or another foreign language

After downloading DUO Mobile from the App Store, you may find that it's in German or another foreign language.

There are several options available to you:

• Update the device to iOS 16 +
  • If the affected device supports it, update to iOS 16 (or iPadOS 16) or later. This resolves the language discrepancy issue.
• Use the app in the foreign language
  • Use the familiar colours, symbols, and button locations to respond to push notifications and otherwise use the app.
• Purchase a new device
  • If the affected device cannot run iOS 16 or newer, consider upgrading to a newer device to eliminate the problem.
• Request a Hardware Token to use instead of DUO Mobile

This problem is caused by a software bug in Apple's iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems.

The DUO Mobile App should present in English.
