How do I add my VCU Google account to my phone or tablet?

Summary

Adding your VCU Google Workspace account to your mobile device allows you to access your account on the go, including services such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Chat, and many more. The steps you'll follow many vary depending on your role at VCU, if you're affiliated with Public Safety or clinical departments, and the apps you want to access.

 NOTE: Employees and students of certain departments or schools, such as those that handle sensitive PHI/HIPAA protected data or other sensitive data, must install the Mobile Device Management policy to use the Google Workspace apps to access email and calendar on your mobile device.
