How to add Tableau Exchange Extensions

 CAUTION: Avoid extensions not built by Tableau or Salesforce unless you have received explicit approval from VCU Tableau support and/or Information Security. 

1. Visit Tableau Exchange at: https://exchange.tableau.com and select the type of extension you want (i.e. Dashboard, Viz, etc.)
2. Under Features, check the box for Built by Tableau + Salesforce
3. Click on an extension to view its details
   1. Ensure the extension is compatible with your current Tableau version by looking for the requirements noted under Tech Specifications (e.g. Works with Tableau 2019.4 and later)
4. To install the extension, follow these instructions: https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/viz_extensions.htm

Tableau account creation may be necessary to download extensions from Tableau Exchange.
