Solution
NOTE: The VCU Guest Wireless account login times out after 24 hours. You must disconnect from the network and reconnect in order to generate the Welcome Page to login and continue accessing the internet.
- In your wireless settings, select VCU Guest Wireless from the list of available networks
- If you do not see this network, it means you are not in range or your device is not compatible
- The Guest Wireless Welcome Page should appear automatically. If it does not open automatically, use your device's built-in web browser to navigate to http://purple.com
- If you already have an account, skip to step 8
- If this is your first time, click Create an Account
- Enter your name, a valid email address you can access, and create a password. A validation email will be sent to the address you enter here
- Click Create new account
- This will give you a 10 minute grace period of internet access to allow you to respond to the validation email

- Access the email address you provided and click the verification link in the email message from noreply@meraki.com
- After clicking the link and receiving the Thanks page, disconnect and reconnect to the network on your device so that the Welcome Page is displayed again
- You may have to wait until the 10 minutes of access are up for the Welcome Page to display
- Enter your registered email address and password— and check the box to accept VCU's terms and conditions
- Click Sign In
