Cause

This error may be the result of one or more problems:

  • Connections to RamsVPN are blocked by default. You must first connect to VCU Remote Gatekeeper.
  • The Cisco Secure Client may cache the connection issue and prevent future connections until it is restarted.
  • Your IP address may have changed since you authenticated to Remote Gatekeeper, resulting in an unrecognized device.
  • Your device is using a proxy or private relay resulting in an inconsistent connection to the Cisco AnyConnect appliance.
