Problem: I don't want my vcu.edu emails to arrive in my vcuhealth.org inbox

Emails addressed to your vcu.edu account are being automatically forwarded to your vcuhealth.org email. You would like to forward the emails to another address (such as alumni.vcu.edu) or not have any forwarding at all.

University policy states that those with a SOM or VCUHS affiliation will have their emails forwarded from their vcu.edu email to the vcuhealth.org email by default. The vcu.edu inbox does not exist and cannot be accessed, and the address is solely for forwarding. 

The only exception is if someone with a SOM or VCUHS affiliation is also a current student and is taking courses in the current semester. In this instance, the vcu.edu inbox is active, and forwarding can be rerouted. If you graduate and/or are not currently enrolled, your inbox will default back to the vcuhealth.org forwarding rules. 

If you are no longer affiliated with VCUHS, you will need to contact your HR rep to have them clear your active role. 

There is no workaround.
