Respondus LockDown browser asking for "Proctor exit code" - Knowledge Base

Symptoms

Unable to exit out of the lockdown quiz. If the user is taking a quiz or exam on their tablet and when trying to close it, it asks for the proctor exit code.

Environment

Respondus LockDown Browser

Solution

The user should try to forcefully shut down their tablet. If it does not work advise the user to:
1. Reach out to the Lockdown support - https://web.respondus.com/support/
2. Reach out to the instructor of the course.

Outcome

The user should be able to close the quiz after acquiring proctor exit code.
