How to Migrate your Google Jamboard Files to Google Slides
Environment
- VCU's Google Workspace for Education Domain for all Faculty, Staff, and Students
- Desktop PC
Solution
- Open your Jamboard file from the Jamboard homepage.
- From the triple-dot "More Actions" menu, click "Save frame as image" to download the current frame to your computer.
- Repeat this step for each frame as desired
- Create a Google Drawing by going to slides.new or open an existing Google Drawing file from your Google Drive.
- From within the Google Slides file, go to Insert → Image → Upload from computer
- Select the image(s) downloaded in step 3 and select Open.
- (Optional) You can move images to their own slides so that moving between them is similar to Jamboard.
Additional Information
Jamboard is shutting down. On October 1, 2024, all Jamboard files become view-only.
