When a graduate gets an alumni email account
Solution
In accordance with the Alumni Email Standard, graduates will automatically be provided with a Google Workspace Account in the alumni.vcu.edu domain. They will be notified of the account creation and provided with a default password when the Banner record reflects a graduation status.
The student account will become inactive after the re-enroll period expires (3 semesters).
Email addressed to @vcu.edu will be delivered to the Alumni account.
Additional Information
To maintain your VCU alumni email account, you must log in via a web browser at least once per calendar year. All accounts not logged into via a web browser will be deleted in January. We do not recreate deleted accounts.
