Problem: BIOS is corrupted on Dell computers

Summary

A Dell computer will not boot and instead shows an error message that the BIOS is corrupted.

Symptoms

The computer fails to POST or boot to Windows, and instead shows the error message "BIOS corruption has been detected and Auto-Recovery is triggered!"

Environment

Dell laptops and desktops.

Solution

Dell BIOS Recovery tool was used to resore the corrupted BIOS.

Outcome

The BIOS is recovered and Windows boots normally.
