When downloading from the Software Center, you encounter: "Error: Your current VCU status indicates you as NOT eligible to obtain university licensed software."

If you qualify for an exception:
Your supervisor/sponsor department must confirm that the software will be used STRICTLY for university research by submitting a ticket on your behalf at https://itsupport.vcu.edu.
Note: Once in the ticketing system, your supervisor should search (search box located upper right) for the software needed. Once on the page, choose "License Request". They should confirm the research usage in the description.
If an exception is granted, you will receive an alternate download link for the software.
Most university licensed software titles available through the Software Center are only available for current faculty, staff, or students.
